Change of Greenery Electric Bicycles has returned to the newly-appointed 4-star Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa, located at 3425 Solano Ave., for their second season. For those who are not familiar with Change of Greenery, the innovative firm rents out electric bikes with self-guided handlebar maps for those who are seeking to add an outdoor activity to their Wine Country itinerary. Recently listed as “Nine New Reasons to Love Napa Valley” from Tasting & Touring Magazine, Change of Greenery has 35 different offers from eco-friendly partners in Napa Valley who offer deals such as discounts at retail shops and restaurants, complimentary goods and an array of 2-for-1 wine tastings from various well-known wineries with the included Napa Valley Green Card with each rental. As an added benefit from renting from Change of Greenery, the firm will pick up your retail purchases from listed partners and have them ready for you when you drop off your electric bike.
What’s new this year for Change of Greenery are the newly added bike maps that start and finish from the Napa Valley Marriott. Guests can now choose routes such as The Dry Creek/Oakville Grade Route, The Oak Knoll District, The Downtown Napa Loop and The Road To The Hess Collection along with the very popular Silverado Trail/Yountville Loop. New partners have been added such as The Monticello Deli and The Food Mill, both offering discounted sandwiches and pizzas for their biking picnic as well as getting a free dessert from Bistro Sabor with a meal purchase.
The new self-guided bike tours for The Downtown Napa Loop and The Road to the Hess Collection can be rented for $40 per person for 4-hours along with the most popular all-day touring option at $75 per person.
For people who aren’t familiar with Change of Greenery’s “egreenery” electric bicycles, these unique bikes can cruise at a top speed of 18mph and can reach a range of over 30-miles using pedal-assist. For those seeking a break from time-to-time, these battery-powered velos are also equipped with a throttle, which acts as a moped with a twist of the wrist. Carolyn Nguyen, General Manager of Change of Greenery states, “Visitors of all ages can bike Napa Valley with these electric cruisers. Guests can go the distance without worrying whether they will be able to return to their starting point or be frustrated trying to catch up with other cyclists who have more stamina than the average person.” All electric bike rentals are fully equipped with a removable basket, a removable combination lock and a bicycle helmet.
“With the new multi-million dollar renovation at the hotel, guests have an array of activities to choose from - such as lounging by the pool, exercising in our fitness center, relaxing at the spa as well as dining at the new VINeleven restaurant. With the electric bikes on premises, visitors can truly have everything at their fingertips,” says Todd Iseri, Director of Marketing at The Napa Valley Marriott.
For visitors renting an electric bike during their trip to wine country, the Napa Valley Marriott will be offering 10% off on all of their spa treatments to end their memorable stay in California’s Wine Country.
